Gigi offers supervision to provisional psychologists, registered psychologists (including those completing registrar programs), and other mental health practitioners seeking regular supervision or ad hoc consultation.
Gigi has a particular interest in supporting early-career practitioners as they find their feet in clinical practice. Having worked with some wonderful supervisors herself, Gigi knows how valuable it can be to have someone you can be open with when you’re unsure, stuck, or finding something challenging - someone who also recognises your strengths and helps you build on them.
Supervision Approach
Gigi’s supervision style is collaborative, reflective and warm. She provides a safe space for her supervisees to bring the tricky bits of clinical work or the cases they feel stuck on. Gigi builds on the strengths her supervisees already bring to their practice, and supports them to develop their own clinical voice and way of working. She believes the therapeutic alliance is at the heart of clinical work, and supervision offers a space to reflect on what is happening between therapist and client, bringing some of the often-unconscious processes into awareness.

Neuroaffirmative practice - including internalised PDA, "school can't", and working collaboratively with families and schools

Working with clients with Asian heritage and intergenerational trauma

Therapeutic skill building - developing a flexible toolkit tailored to the client, drawing from Schema Therapy, EMDR, ACT, and attachment-focused approaches.

Autism and ADHD assessment - particularly nuanced, masked and co-occurring presentations

Cognitive and Educational assessment - test selection, interpretation, formulation, differential diagnosis
