Clinical Supervision

Gigi is an AHPRA Board-Approved Supervisor and holds endorsement in Educational & Developmental Psychology and Clinical Psychology. Gigi can provide supervision for

  • Provisional psychologists

  • Registered psychologists completing registrar programs

  • Registered psychologists seeking ad-hoc support with case consultation and more

Gigi’s supervision style is collaborative, warm, and supportive. She understands the unique challenges of being an early career psychologist and aims to create a safe and encouraging space where supervisees can develop reflective practice and strengthen their clinical skills.

Areas of Focus

Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy and Assessment

Gigi provides neurodiversity-affirming supervision for both therapy and assessment across children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience in neurodevelopmental and educational assessments and a strong understanding of the nuanced presentations of ADHD and Autism, particularly in high-masking individuals and clients with intersecting mental health concerns, chronic healh conditions, or other neurodevelopmental presentations.

Trauma-Informed Practice

Gigi takes a neuroaffirming and trauma-informed approach in her clinical work with clients across neurotypes and values collaborative and individualised care that honours each client’s unique experiences and strengths. She has a clinical interest in adapting EMDR and Schema Therapy for neurodivergent individuals. Gigi engages in ongoing professional development to deepen her skills and stay up to date with current evidence and best practice.

Culturally Responsive Practice

Gigi values culturally responsive care and is experienced in working with clients from culturally diverse backgrounds. She considers cultural identity and intergenerational values in her work and remains curious about how these may shape an individual’s emotional expression, relationships, and perspectives on mental health when formulating and supporting clients.

Reflective Practice and Therapist Wellbeing

Gigi recognises the importance of prioritising wellbeing while navigating the demands of being a psychologist, particularly in the early stages of practice. She strives to provide a safe space to discuss clinical challenges, ethical considerations, and relational dynamics (e.g., transference and countertransference), and support sustainable ways of working that align with your values and goals.
