Gigi Tsui Psychologist in Mindflow Psychology

Gigi works collaboratively with her clients through a person-centred and strength-based approach grounded in compassion and curiosity. Gigi's clients usually see her for a range of concerns including: anxiety, depression, perfectionism, stress management, emotional regulation and coping skills, attachment patterns, grief and loss, trauma, and adjusting to changes / life transitions.

Gigi is dedicated to working with clients from culturally diverse backgrounds who may be navigating cultural identity and intergenerational trauma. She works with clients to explore the intersections of culture, values, and identity, fostering a more integrated and compassionate understanding of themselves across different cultural contexts.

Gigi adopts a flexible and individualized approach to therapy, tailoring her methods to meet each client’s unique needs. Her work increasingly draws on approaches such as EMDR and Schema Therapy, with a focus on identifying unmet emotional needs and supporting long-term emotional healing and personal growth.

Embracing Neurodiversity

Authenticity is about tuning in to your true needs and wants, and making life choices that are aligned with those.

Gigi is dedicated to supporting neurodivergent adolescents and adults, especially girls, women, and gender-diverse individuals. Gigi is committed to providing neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed care that values clients’ lived experiences, honours diverse communication styles, and works collaboratively to understand each person’s unique needs, strengths, and challenges. She has a particular interest in adapting EMDR and Schema Therapy to support neurodivergent and culturally diverse individuals.

Gigi understands that developing a positive neurodivergent identity and self-acceptance is a deeply personal journey that unfolds differently for everyone. She supports clients to better understand themselves with self-compassion and make values-aligned choices. She believes that, with appropriate support, neurodivergent people can recognise their strengths and build authentic and meaningful lives.

Walk and Talk

With access to nearby walking trails and natural surroundings, Gigi also offers walk and talk therapy as an option for clients who engage better with movement and appreciate the calming, restorative effects of nature. Growing research suggests that walking while working through thoughts and feelings can help reduce stress, bring greater clarity, and support overall wellbeing.
