Gigi Tsui Psychologist in Mindflow Psychology

Gigi is passionate about supporting adolescents and adults of all neurotypes using a holistic and strength-based approach. Gigi's clients usually see her for a range of concerns including: anxiety, depression, perfectionism, stress management, emotional regulation and coping skills, attachment, grief and loss, trauma, and adjusting to changes / life transitions.

Gigi is dedicated to working with clients from culturally diverse backgrounds who may be navigating cultural identity and intergenerational trauma. She supports clients in exploring the intersections of culture, values, and identity, and in developing a more integrated and compassionate understanding of themselves across different cultural contexts.

Gigi adopts a flexible and individualized approach to therapy, tailoring her methods to meet each client’s unique needs. Her work has increasingly shifted toward approaches such as EMDR and Schema Thearpy, with a focus on identifying unmet emotional needs and supporting long-term emotional healing and personal growth.

Embracing Neurodiversity

Authenticity is about tuning in to your true needs and wants, and making life choices that are aligned with those.

Gigi's clinical interest is supporting and empowering neurodivergent clients, especially girls, women, and gender-diverse individuals. She is committed to providing neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed therapy that values her clients’ lived experiences and honours their communication styles. Gigi works collaboratively with her clients, appreciating the diverse ways neurodivergent individuals navigate their own experiences and needs.

Gigi understands that self-acceptance is a personal journey, and that developing a positive neurodivergent identity is a deeply personal process that may unfold at a different pace for each individual. Gigi supports clients in making values-aligned choices and believes that with appropriate support, accommodations, and opportunities for self-understanding, neurodivergent people can recognise their strengths, honour their authentic selves, and lead meaningful, fulfilling lives.
